Delights 9: a slower Wednesday
Spring has been springing a very full calendar on our family, but, today, I found pockets of fun and delight in the midst of it.
Wednesdays have been my favorite for a while because my husband and I eat breakfast with some friends once we get the kids to school. My friend Sarah gave me a shirt that I’ve been wearing nonstop since it’s warmed up. I snapped a picture in it this morning. Wearing it feels a little like taking her with me.

The strawberries are blossoming!

Our CSA pickup started this week and look at this gorgeous head of lettuce! I always go with one of my dearest friends to get the CSA which makes it even better.

Then I met a woman for coffee at my favorite bookstore where I had a london fog and then bought two books.

I made a lovely salad with the CSA produce with a homemade vinaigrette so good I could almost drink it. While we were eating dinner, we were watching the countdown to the Artemis II launch. It was breathtaking to watch the launch from my car while my middle schooler’s soccer game was delayed for lightning.

Happy Wednesday. I hope you found some small pocket of joy in yours.
Thankful spring is finally sprung. Strawberries are one of my favorite fruits. Have a blessed Easter.
