Delights 14: a conference thought

I wrote this during District Conference on Monday.

It is the treasurer’s report and I’m not voting so I’ll reflect on something that is mine.

A woman spoke earlier, a mobilizer for her church, and she reminded me of a dear woman at our old church in Kentucky. So I picked up my phone and texted to thank her for how she made space for me as I was growing in my own ministry calling.

What a delight that so many people have seen me. I am so grateful for people who have invited me in and helped me become who I am. They are too many to name. Praise God.
